Broadcast
A broadcast can be used by managers and system administrators to send information to users. This may be used for general announcements, such as system maintenance.
A broadcast can be sent to users of selected roles. Select the "user" role to broadcast to all users (or just select all roles).
The types of broadcast that are supported are:
- E-mail: this requires a primary e-mail address contact detail configured for the user
If the appropriate contact detail is not configured for a user, the broadcast will not be received by that user.
